Progress Day

You will be aware, from dates already published, that a second Progress Day has been planned for 28th March. However, due to possible industrial action on the same date, the Progress Day will not now take place. At the last Progress Day targets were set for your son/daughter with their tutor and we feel it is essential to review these targets with them and we will therefore ensure this is done as soon as possible. If you would like to discuss their progress with their tutor please contact them to make an appointment.

The next Progress Review for Years 7 to 10 will be sent home in July.

Mr P. Ash – Assistant Headteacher

Ski Trip

After an eighth successful ski trip to Pila, Italy, the school is pleased to announce the forthcoming trip for the next academic year, 2013.

The pupils and staff had an amazing experience and the pupils made substantial progress with their skiing. Some pupils even achieved grade A and A* at GCSE PE level. As well as the skiing, the trip offers many other activities such as: disco, pizza night, bum-boarding, pool-party, as well as trips around Aosta. This trip is a wonderful opportunity: whether learning to ski or progressing from previous trips.

The trip has been provisionally booked for Saturday 2nd February until Sunday 10th February 2013 inclusive.
