Great Torrington School pupils and staff have fun raising

serious cash for Sport Relief

Posted on: 23/03/2016

Friday 18th March, Discovery House held a highly successful fundraising day in aid of Sports Relief and raised an impressive £601.58 for the appeal. Money was raised through bake sales, games and lucky dips and the non-school uniform day.

The highlight of the day was the inter-house Human Hungry Hippos game held in the Sports Hall at lunchtime.  With staff  representing their houses to play the human version of the board game.  As you can imagine, it was loud, tiring and a lot of fun.  It's an excellent way to bring staff and pupils together to get active, have fun and raise money for a great cause!

The results were as follows:

1.       Resolution

2.       Discovery

3.       Endeavour

4.       Endurance

The event was a great success and we hope that everyone had fun.
