Students at Great Torrington School are getting ready to celebrate Sports Relief this week with a variety of fundraising games and activities.

Adam Tofield, Sports Development officer at Great Torrington School, said: "On Wednesday 19th March pupils from Year 7 to Year 10 will be taking part in a mini Duathlon relay during PE Lessons. This will involve running 2 laps of the school field and cycling 3 laps. This will be just short of 3 miles.  I hope it will be a fun challenging exercise for all students to take on."

On Friday 21st March we are allowing pupils to wear sporty clothes and trainers in return a donation towards Sports Relief and Ms Sparrow has declared a sports relief bake off against Mr David Rippin' s tutor group to see who sells the most cakes.

Friday morning all pupils in Year 7 will be treated to a Streetz Dance workshop with Streetz dance founder Amy Avery.

We look forward to reporting on all of the above events this week.
