Seven young people from GTS boxed for the North Devon Children’s Holiday Foundation at the weekend.

The event, held at the weekend in Appledore, attracted teams from all over the South-West to take part in this fundraising event.

Heathcliffe Pettifer, of Torrington Amateur Police Boxing Club, said: “The youngsters should be commended for their excellent support and participation in Sunday’s charity boxing show. They deserve the recognition for their dedication to train.”

Congratulations goes to Fergus McLean, Trai Sheppard, Matt Gray, Nathan Board, Alfie Betts, Jack Pledger and Charlie Golder.  These pupils take part in weekly training sessions, working on their boxing technique, fitness and their own personal goals.  If you would like to find out more information about Torrington Amateur Boxing Club and their training and fitness nights, please go to http://torringtonpoliceboxing.btck.co.uk/Training or speak to one of the above members.
