Sue Williamson, Chief Executive, SSAT(Schools, Students, and Teachers Network) was delighted to visit Great Torrington School and present their Educational Outcomes award.  She was very impressed with the quality of teaching and learning.  Students are constantly challenged to solve real life problems.

Sue said: "Great Torrington School is an outstanding school with a relentless focus on meeting the needs of all young people.  The Headteacher, Tracey Amos, has a clear vision of education and has a staff team that are committed to challenging students of all abilities to do their best.  The school has recently joined SSAT's Leading Edge network - a group of 300 outstanding schools across the country.  A great achievement that will help the school become even better."
