WHAT is the subject about?
GCSE Statistics has a focus on handling data and
probability. You will acquire skills in and gain an
understanding of statistical concepts and methods.
WHY should I choose this subject?
Statistics will complement your GCSE Mathematics.
It will develop your enquiring mind and logical-
thinking skills, as well as gaining an appreciation for
statistical analysis evident in everyday life.
WHEN and HOW am I assessed?
This will be fully assessed by a written examination in
year 11.

You must have an enquiring mind and enjoy working with

Statistics is studied as part of the A Level
Mathematics course. Studying GCSE statistics will
