Assemblies
Each half term Heads of Learning will receive overall point scores – this will not be cumulative and will
allow Tutors to be ranked each half term. The ranked position will be used to determine the Tutor group
winner in each Year at the end of the year.
Each Half Term the TOP 10 Pupils in each Year group will receive a certificate and prize to recognize
their success. Overall points score will be used but it will not be cumulative so hopefully different pupils
will receive these awards. The rewards assembly will be at the start of each half term.
onsequence points are awarded for things such as poor behaviour, lack of work and lack of
homework or equipment.
If your child continues to accumulate Consequence Points there will be series of “trigger points”
that will result in a series of escalating actions. Please see below:
50
points – Letter home from Tutor
100
points – Phone call from Tutor
150
points – Parent/Pupil/Tutor meeting – on report
200
points – Pupil Coach Interview - monitoring
250
points – Parent/Pupil/HOL – PEP/Mentoring
300

The escalating actions are aimed at supporting pupils in making the correct choices and to prevent a
pattern of negativity.
