Congratulations boys you have remained
undefeated this season.
Sixty five pupils were recognised for the positive contributions they make to their communities. James Jarroudi from Torridge
District Council and Louise Harris from Active Devon presented the level one awards to the pupils as GTS had so many pupils
that had been nominated back last spring that our own ceremony was required. Congratulations everyone we look forward
to hearing about what you do next. For more information on the scheme that recognises the fantastic voluntary work that

Multi Skills Festivals a Huge Success!
Children from KS1 in Torrington Learning Community Primary Schools enjoyed being treated to a morning of fun activities
led by Great Torrington School Young Leaders. This was the first festival for many of our Young Sports Leaders who have
been developing their confidence and ability to lead others as part of their training on their enrichment programme. The
young leaders were involved in teaching games and running activities and helping with the organisation of the sports
festivals which all goes towards them gaining their Young Leaders Award.
Over 240 primary school children engaged in healthy competition and had a fantastic day of fun with neighbouring schools
in our community. To see more photos of this event visit the gallery section of our website.
