Young Chef of the
Year Competition
Mike Bridgman and John Carvosso
who were the judges for the Torring-
ton Rotary club competition were
absolutely amazed by the standard
and conduct of how pupils worked in
the kitchen and under pressure to
produce a 2 course healthy meal for
two people.
All the pupils’ dishes were exceptional
and they should be very proud of their
achievements. Jade Hill and Seth
Hayward who amazed the judges
were the Torrington ultimate winners
and went through to the North Devon
Final at Petroc College.
Jade Hill amazed judges with her soda
bread in the final and is now on her
way to the Devon final at South Devon
College in January. Good luck Jade!
